Yoichi Winery

Refining every step to create local wine unlike any other

Yoichi Wine began making wines in 1974.

True to its name, grapes grown amid the nature of Yoichi are fermented under the ideal conditions created by Yoichi’s climate to make great local wines.

The company has built relationships on a strong foundation of trust with the contracted local vineyards it has worked with since its early days, making this a truly community-rooted collaboration.

In recent years, Yoichi Winery has opened its own vineyard, and is working with young grape growers on new challenges. This has included the 2011 opening of Yoichi Winery, a veritable wine theme park where you can see Yoichi Wine up close and personal.

Delicious talk
from Mama Heidi's

Tarujuku Zweigeltrebe 2017
Whoa! I'm amazed by the big gulps I took of this!

This is delicious! It's got a full body but it's refreshing too.
You can tell by the aroma that this is an aged wine.
I like it both at room temperature and chilled.
Along with the obvious choice of meat, I'd drink this with light dishes as well.
It was wonderful with chilled pasta and fruit too!
Before I drank it, I thought this is going to be a sweet one, isn't it?
But it's got a very accessible taste—it took me by surprise!
This is one to gulp down (sly smile)
